L'Oceanogràfic in Valencia, Spain: the biggest aquarium in Europe!

Hello dear people!

We are going to make a fun and entertaining visit, because if there is a tourist place that everyone likes in the Spanish city of Valencia, it is the City of Arts and Sciences complex.

But moving beyond this futuristic area that has been the scene of cool advertisements, TV shows like Westworld... and movies, we find the last stop and the favorite of many, it is L'Oceanogràfic, an aquarium of immense dimensions in which we can spend almost the entire day.
But sorry, the photos are not the best due to the glass, the dark light and the water but still it is worth seeing them!

Here we go, this time directly to these facilities of what is the newest and largest aquarium in all of Europe, although it is already a few years old, more than fifteen if I'm not mistaken, but it always continues to surprise us.
And we start with enthusiasm and a lot of curiosity, and the first thing we want to see are those large areas and corridors of water, where it covers us above while the fish, cuttlefish, rays, belugas and sharks swim next to us and above our heads.

Suddenly the visit becomes a visual fantasy. Millions of fish of thousands of colors that our vision of the world changes color for us, everything is a different and new world that reminds us how wonderful nature is. We remained absorbed and with our mouths open, many sensations and many photos that I forgot to take, I stayed looking to see what curious animal came out between the rocks, or in the end amused with a somewhat, well, too emotional image of an intimate moment of two turtles... but let's change to another of the areas.

There are areas of different ecosystems and one that is very striking is the green area for birds, because it is not only water but also jungle and a lot of vegetation and among them many more species that we discovered, some beautiful pink flamingos, and some more funny turtles, and many others flying around, fantastic.

And since this time we are with less time and more in a hurry, we went fast to the entertainment area. Despite the cloudy day, because there are days like that here too, there were people who enjoyed those acrobatics games of the incredible and intelligent dolphins.

I want to comment that in reality it is not the best for these animals, many of you will think so and it is true but you also have to know that this aquarium is in collaboration with another of the buildings in the City of Arts and Sciences complex, which is The Príncipe Felipe Science Museum and the foundation is a research institution, which truly cares for and preserves natural life. So although it is not ideal, since all the ecosystems have been recreated in the aquarium, it may be one of the most innovative and where all the animals could be better cared for. And we appreciate that.

I hope you liked the visit and so much colorful life that there is in this modern aquarium, the Oceanográfico, in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, which a long time ago I also shared a post about these other design buildings and maybe I will return I'll do it when I get back there soon...

Some of you may have seen that recently a terrible fire of a huge building has occurred in this beautiful city, it has been very tragic and through this post I want to convey my condolences and make it a small tribute.🙏
