Brazilian Beaches: Florianópolis, Santos and Guarujá

Hello people and pinmapplers!

Summer is ending here, although not really, it seems that the summer vibes continue, these warm vibes refuse to leave and between that breeze and the sound of the sea, memories of other warm times, other vibes and other beaches come to us.

Because if there are places where there is life on the beaches, it is Brazil. Just thinking about Brazilian beaches, different images come to mind, right? Who doesn't know Ipanema or Copacabana? Well, I already shared a long time ago a post about Rio de Janeiro and those famous beaches, almost when I started here on Hive.

But in Brazil there are many beaches and many spectacular places, and others where people simply enjoy life, nature and the waves. So let's discover three more of them, where once again my travel moments & memories. And we begin in…

Florianópolis

It is actually a charming and stylish southern city, they say that many of the famous Brazilian models were discovered here, I don't know, I didn't see any, but I saw a lot of people enjoying the quiet life, surfing and of the alternative cool lifestyle on its many small and almost hidden beaches.

But first we see the panoramic view of a town where nature eclipses the city itself because it is located between mainland and a big island united there. And from there we go in search of those curious beaches hidden through strange paths between small hills and curves, on the "island" part, specially on Barra da Lagoa. We came to one, and we just enjoy.

People are happy, they play with sarongs, and "one" of them thinks she is “divine” 😅. It seems like a dream not real life but it is just life, being on the beach.

And at some moments the clouds pass but nothing gets dark, because even with a fine and sporadic rain no one leaves, everything continues, everything doesn't matter, they know that the sun will return very soon. People just keep feeling good.

And we can't stop drawing in the sand. Hey, do you want a caipirinha?

Santos

Very close to the big city of São Paulo (about which I have also shared some other posts in the past here) we find Santos, the town where the most famous football player, Pelé was born and played, Neymar also played here, but besides soccer (European football), people there want to enjoy the views, to feel happy, eat and toast!

Brazilians want to drink on the beach. I say drink because here they also meet with friends to drink alcohol, not only caipirinhas that they sell in street carts like ice cream but at the food stalls on the beach itself you can order a fruity cocktail or a vodka with redbull, something they drank a lot. They go strong, to the limit!

Although if (obviuosly) you have to fill your stomach, “linguiça encebolada” (Brazilian sausage with onion) is easy to order and eat, then relax and enjoy the colorful place until the day finishes...

Then sunlight changes and the time passes there, people go and while we already think about going to another place, to another beach?

Guarujá

Again not too far from the big city (São Paulo) in fact some of its inhabitants have their holiday apartment here near the sea. Another urban town but where that summer beach feeling remains, you almost don't know when it's summer and when not... it doesn't matter.

You can do water sports or sit and have a drink with friends too, of course, those are beaches to socialize, to be happy and feel the place. The atmosphere is cheerful!

And finally the sunset arrives, light is soft now, moment is going in one instant looking at the waves... there where life, city, fun, friends, nature and ocean merge in a single joyful and relaxing moment.

The End

Sure, I know that these beaches may not be the best known in Brazil, nor the most spectacular in terms of idyllic panorama, but they are some where people usually go frequently, near urban places and where they can spend a lot of time. Where you live a lot, play, talk, eat, drink and laugh.
And at the end of all, it is just that, in addition to the beautiful landscapes that remains in our memory... Olha só Brasil!

I have still here my souvenir, my beach sarong.
