I've been waiting years to get a good lilac breasted roller in flight photo!
Kenya is a birdwatcher's paradise for several reasons. First off, the country boasts a remarkable diversity of bird species—over 1,000 different types! The varied landscapes, from savannahs to forests, provide habitats for both resident and migratory birds.

Kenya's national parks and reserves are like exclusive VIP lounges for birdwatchers. Amboseli National Park, for instance, offers the chance to spot both birds and iconic wildlife against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. It's like a two-for-one deal!
Besides Amboseli National Park, I would suggest Tsavo National Park and the Masai Mara. Even the pigeons are emerald green! The biodiversity of bird life here is second to none.
I always tell folks, go for the lions, stay for the birds!
Now check out all of these birds spotted in these three parks mentioned above.
