RE: Visiting The Zoo

I understand how walking in the sand and rocks can improve foot health because I’ve seen something that works on a similar principle here. People are advised to put these soft spiky rubber bands at the tips of their motor bike brakes because they improve circulation in the hands.

In one of my classes with the medical students here, we discussed some ways to improve health in older people and something like this came up. Apparently, walking barefooted improves circulation in your feet and allows for more blood to nourish the bones and nerves in the foot. Based on this, it was also suggested that older people should wear sandals with a little bit rough insides, as those will stimulate and improve circulation in the sole of the feet. I don’t have any pictures of those type of sandal on my phone right now but maybe I’ll show you sometime when I come across any.

I was pleased to see the insect hotel was still there

This is my first time hearing insect hotel. I almost asked if you came up with the name yourself.

The Mantled Guereza looks very sad in the first photo. You can almost tell by the look on it’s face.
