Dawn on the top of Hai Van Pass - An ideal place to stop to admire the view of Da Nang

Hello Hiver friends! Today is the first day of the week, a new week with new joys. Wishing everyone a nice new week. I was fortunate to be born and raised in the beautiful city of Da Nang, a place blessed with nature, full of rivers, mountains, and sea to become an attractive tourist city for tourists from all over the world… The beach is mentioned most when talking about Da Nang tourism. If anyone has ever been to Da Nang, a city with beautiful beaches, surely you cannot miss the opportunity to watch the sunrise here. Every morning it's great to go to the beach and breathe in the fresh air. Dawn is a healing therapy for the soul, is the most beautiful moment of the day, giving us hope of a blessed life and a good new beginning. Thus, the sight of the sun rising in the face of The sea is a beautiful and peaceful scene that makes everyone strangely captivated and fascinated. Wherever we watch the sunrise, it will bring us different emotions. In the park or by the lake, you can sip a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise through the window. But all of them give each of us a new source of energetic energy. Just watching the sunrise on the sea makes me very happy, but have you ever seen the sunrise on the high mountains and on the top of that mountain we can see the sea and the sunrise? Curious where it is? This morning, I had my first trip, after the Lunar New Year. The place that I went to today is Hai Van mountain, of Da Nang city.

On Hai Van mountain, there will be winding passes on the side of the mountain, below the high mountains is the beautiful Da Nang bay. If you go at any time of the day, Hai Van Pass will also bring you a separate beauty, including the majestic immensity of the mountains and the sea. The romance of the enchanting curves of the high pass and the sunset and sunrise in the high mountains. And even more wonderful if you drive early in the morning to see the wonderful sunrise at the pass road known as the "first majestic landscape" of Vietnam. If you stand on the top of the pass when it is not yet morning, under the mountain slopes from somewhere far away, a train passes and goes into the mountain. Then, when a small yellow light appeared, gradually dispelling the darkness, the whole area of the passage was bathed in an incredible light, the sun gradually came out, harmonizing everywhere, awakening the grass. trees, flowers, wakes everything up, some fishing boats return in the night, drift with the current, a new day begins... It's an unforgettable experience, the moment to stand there and watch everything How things change before sunrise. Hai Van Pass is just one of the few majestic passes in Vietnam, perhaps Hai Van Pass is not as challenging as the Northwest Passes. But the Hai Van pass has great significance when it has witnessed many changes in history. Today, Hai Van Pass has become a famous destination not to be missed when traveling to Hue and Da Nang, a place to record the moments that nature bestows on this place.

Hai Van Pass is also known as Ai Van Pass (because there was a pass at the top of the pass, the remains remain to this day) or May Pass (because it is often covered by clouds), Hai Van Pass is located in the Bach Ma mountain range. Ma, a branch of the Truong Son mountain range, flows directly to the sea. The pass has a total length of more than 20 km and the highest point of the pass is about 500 m above sea level. Hai Van pass is the border separating the mountains. Distance between Da Nang city and Thua Thien Hue province. Hai Van Mountain is about 20 km from Da Nang city and about 80 km from Hue city. This pass was explored and built as the main traffic road during the French colonial period. The North-South link transports weapons and food to serve the war. Later, this pass was repaired to make the main road of the country, the north-south bus routes pass through here. Because there are many dangerous curves, most of the accidents in Vietnam happen on this road. In 2005, the Hai Van tunnel was opened to traffic and put into circulation. Most vehicles pass through the tunnel. Therefore, the situation of traffic accidents at Hai Van Pass began to decrease. Currently, most of the large trucks and passenger cars pass through the tunnel, so the road to Hai Van pass is quite empty, most of us are backpackers like us who want to explore and admire the new scenery on this pass. My favorite is still sitting on the top of the pass and looking at the sea, a frame that is not too colorful but stimulates us immensely. Majestic mountains surround the sea, blue water stretches to the horizon, the feeling becomes strange every time you come here.

This morning I woke up very early so that I could watch the sunrise early in the morning. The weather outside is quite cold these days, so waking up early is quite a challenge for me. On today's trip, I went with my friends. We started at 4:30 am, from the center of Da Nang city to reach this pass will take about 30 minutes, for a distance of 20km. The first place that we visited was the lonely pine tree, the lonely pine tree located on the Hai Van pass. It is the boundary between Da Nang city and Thua Thien Hue province. The scenery of the pass is winding and winding, the mountains are identical. The immense sea always attracts many backpackers. Halfway through the pass, you will see the silhouette of a lone pine tree. If you start in the direction of Da Nang, this place is only a short distance away. The pine tree is located about 2 km from the top of Hai Van Quan. If you start from Da Nang, go a little further from the foot of the pass and you will arrive. In Hai Van pass, there are quite a few pine trees growing, but in the photo perhaps the lonely pine tree is the most impressive one. It makes everyone passing by here can't help but stop. The pine tree with only branches and leaves on the side of the road has become the "virtual living" coordinates. Pine trees are popular with backpackers when going through this pass. In the middle of the winding and winding pass, on both sides of the precarious mountains and forests, the pine tree is still standing alone, at this pass road. Near the lonely pine tree, there is also a cafe. You can have breakfast and watch the sunrise, from the cafe here. This place is visited by many tourists on weekends. We stood here to capture the sunrise behind Son Tra mountain

Not far from the lonely pine tree is the old turtle rock, this area has many big rocks lying under the high mountain slopes. The shape of this stone is very similar to a turtle, so it is called a turtle stone. There are many cafes here for visitors to stop and rest, you can take pictures of the landscape here in the morning, it is very beautiful, I saw a dry tree branch. When the sun rises high, this dry branch looks really impressive, below the mountain is tall pines. The sky is quite beautiful today, it would be a pity if I didn't bring my camera today. Morning scene on Hai Van pass, there are many people exercising by cycling. Cycling up the steep slopes of Hai Van Pass is always challenging, and I feel a great deal of respect for those who ride bicycles to the top of Hai Van mountain. On the road of Hai Van pass, there are many winding bends, U-shaped bends. These sleeve bends are quite dangerous, for everyone when traveling on this pass road. You can see clouds drifting down the ravines. Really the scenery today is very beautiful, I took a lot of photos here. Hai Van Pass is a memorable experience when traveling in Da Nang city, if you are an adventurous person, you should not miss this road known as the most majestic world.
