Hello friends, I found out that there was an exhibition of works of art at the Quinta de Vasco de Gama, one of the emblematic municipal chamber properties of Seixal, and it is worth dedicating a post to the local artists and we will explain a little the history of the villa that has more than half a century of history! Hola amigos, me entere que habia una exposicion de obra de arte en la Quinta de Vasco de Gama una de las propiedades de la camara municipal emblematicas de Seixal, y es que vale la pena dedicar un post a los artistas locales ademas que explicaremos un poco la historia de la quinta que tiene mas de medio siglo de historia! la casa tiene una hermosa vista pues frente de ella se encuentra la bahia de seixal, para descubrir su "fundacion" debemos viajar al siglo XV donde fue construida por uno de los personajes mas emblematicos de Portugal (Vasco de Gama)💂♂️🕵️♀️👨💻🚩

Esta es la unica casa del siglo XV con un sistema hidraulico que explica como funciona la marea de la bahia y es que tiene una adaptacion en los jardines que permite que el agua de la bahia entre cuando la marea esta alta permitiendo la entrada de la ecologia marina dentro del jardin, lo que permitia que en esa altura se pudiese pescar dentro de las propias instalaciones, unica en Portugal y posiblemente unica de Europa, una razon mas para visitarla y aprender sobre el comportamiento de la ecologia de las bahias! y como dato curioso es gratis su entrada!🙇♂️🏰🍍

La principal inspiracion del señor (Paulo Gama) de construir la finca era con el proposito de la inspiracion de los barcos "caravelas" que zarparon en la era medieval para descubrir y comercializar con la India, por eso es normal conseguir muchas decoraciones dedicadas a figuras marinas mitologicas, sin embargo la finca tenia tambien el interes comercial de la siembra de citricos que hoy en dia se mantienen para mantener la propiedad lo mas original posible, la finca esta abierta casi todos los dias y cierra a las 18:00 por si estas de paso en la zona sur de Lisboa🚙🌏

I know that many come to the gardens to have outdoor dates, today that is not my case hahah well let's say we came more with the interest of seeing the art, however it seems to me that the area has that very original romantic atmosphere too beautiful to make a picnic with your partner or with your family! se que muchos vienen a los jardines para tener citas al aire libre, hoy no es mi caso hahah pues digamos veniamos mas con el interes de ver el arte, sin embargo me parece que el area tiene ese ambiente romantico muy original demasiado bonito para hacer un picnic con tu pareja o con tu familia! como puedes ver la capilla fue agregada en el siglo XVIII y fue construida con puras decoraciones marinas inclusive conchas, almejas y otros mas! inclusive azulejos👀🚩
The mansion has several modifications and restorations, however it remains as original as possible, a chapel was built that dates back to the 20th century and was used to perform Christian masses for the residents until it was suspended by the chamber since Seixal has its own church that It dates back to the 16th century, there are many myths and legends about the mansion, some said for many years that it was haunted and in fact sometimes there are some activities where they turn the mansion into a play of horror that I participated in last year and my God. ...A terrible fear!🌷🍍🙇♂️
La mansion tiene varias modificaciones y restauraciones sin embargo se mantiene lo mas original posible, se construyo una capilla que data del siglo XX y que sirvio para realizar misas cristianas a los pobladores hasta que fue suspendida por la camara ya que Seixal tiene su propia iglesia que remonta del siglo XVI, hay muchos mitos y leyendas sobre la mansion algunos decian por muchos años que estaba embrujada y de echo a veces hay algunas actividades donde convierten a la mansion en una obra de teatro de terror que participe el año pasado y mi Dios.... Un miedo terrible!🧠🌊
Normally the chamber at a cultural level is one of the best in Portugal as it is always doing activities for the community and greatly encourages the local artists who today placed their works of art in the patio of the mansion giving that even more interesting touch to our visit ! We cannot enter the mansion because it is very well preserved, when I entered it was at night during the activity but it is too spectacular to see all the 100% original decoration from the 18th century.🍍🧠🏰🚙
Normalmente la camara a nivel cultural es una de las mejores de Portugal pues siempre esta haciendo actividades para la comunidad e impulsa mucho a los artistas locales quienes hoy colocaron sus obras de arte en el patio de la mansion dando ese toque aun mas interesante a nuestra visita! no podemos entrar en la mansion pues esta muy conservado, yo cuando entre era de noche en la actividad pero es una cosa demasiado espectacular ver toda la decoracion del siglo XVIII 100% original.🧭🙇♂️🌷
