A DAY AT LAMBUG BEACH, BADIAN

Summer is just around the corner in the Philippines. Do you know what it means? Time to hit the beach. The sunny days are my favorite time of the year. More excuses to get tan, wear comfortable clothes, and eat cold food.

Of all the beaches found on the south side of Cebu, Lambug Beach in Badian is my favorite. It's a memorable place because when I started my solo traveling phase, it was the first destination I went to. I intentionally left my phone, wrote down the information in my small notebook, and ask people when I need to know something.

I left the house early that day. Packed some extra clothes, some snacks, and the mindset that I should be back home in one piece. Usually, the trip from Talisay to Badian will take 4 hours but there are times it could extend to 5 hours if the bus keeps on stopping to either pick up or drop some passengers.

I made it to the beach. It was a weekday when I went so the sight of other beachgoers is almost none. I have the entire beach for myself. I placed my towel on the sand, put my bag, and sat down. If someone was looking at me that time, they'll probably think I'm crazy. The ocean makes me smile. The blue hues, the breeze, the sound of the waves make me happy.

The shoreline of Badian is massive. It is a long walk and I did not waste any time exploring the beach. Found some spots to take some pictures for the gram (but now these photos are very useful in Hive). I was so lucky that I was free to do whatever I want. The weather was perfect and the view was stunning.

Going home, I decided to walk from the beach to the main road. Not quite sure how far was it but people usually take a tricycle but I decided not to. I was able to see this view and some pretty things.

I can't for the day to visit Badian again. I hope that Odette didn't damage the beauty of Lambug. How about you, do you have any summer escapades planned? Where are you guys going? Let me know in the comments below! See you there!
