THE BEACHES

Bored and stuck in our house for a long time because of the pandemic, my parents decided that we would go out for a swim. We were so excited cuz it was the first time in ages that we could finally get out from the cage of boredom. We had prepared everything ----- towels, foods, extra clothes, etc., and left first thing in the morning. But by the time we arrived there, we did not expect that it was low tide. We endured the heat to search for areas that we could swim, but unfortunately, there were none. So all we could do was to wait. By 10am, the water level had finally increased, and we then went for a swim. As our skin collided with the water, it felt refreshing. I guess its worth waiting after all.

Four days after I arrived home from Manila, we went to another beach within our town. We packed our breakfast and clothes for our swim. When we arrived there at the beach, we settled everything we've packed and ate breakfast together while talking about my college life, sitting on the blanket while enjoying the view and sea breeze.

THE EATS

My mom had suddenly craved eating in restaurants. So, we decided to dine there at a certain restaurant at the shore. It was worth it though cuz the restaurant had a nice view of the sea, and the sea breeze was intoxicating. Also, the foods there were so delicious, I could rate these foodies 10/10.

Me and my fam went out for lunch 3 days before I had once again departed from my hometown. My parents decided that we were going at Mang Inasal, and after we placed our orders, we've waited patiently for a bit long since the fast food chain was crowded. Anyways, we've got our stomachs full after we ate.

After my sister's high school moving up, we went out to the barbecue grill for dinner beside the dock. It was crowded and humid but we've just endured it anyways. We've ordered some barbecue, grilled chicken, lomi, and rice. After we ate a few rounds, our stomachs became full. After we dined at the barbecue grill, we went for dessert, which was milktea. And again, we've waited a bit longer cuz there were few people who had placed their orders. We all ordered large size but different flavors, and then went home.

I'm really grateful for all of these dates although it's just full of simplicity, but what matters most is that through all of these, they make somewhat our family ties stronger.
