Sanctuary of Santo Cristo de la Grita
Today I went on a trip to the sanctuary of the holy Christ of La Grita, which is located on the outskirts of the city. De la grita specifically in the municipality jaureegui in the state of Tachira Venezuela.

There is a story that says that the image of the Holy Christ of La Grita was made by a monk in the city of La Grita, his face was missing and he did not know what face to put on it, so he went to sleep, when he woke up he realized that the face of the Holy Christ was already finished and had a serene face, it is said that it was finished by the angels, that is why it is also known as the Holy Christ of the serene face.
Hay una historia que dice la imagen del santo Cristo de la grita la hizo un Monge en la ciudad de la grita ,le faltaba el rostro y no sabia que rostro colocarle ,entonces se fue a dormir ,cuando se levantó se dio cuenta que el rostro del santo Cristo ya estaba terminando y tenía un rostro sereno ,se dice que fue terminado por los angeles, por eso es que también se le conoce como santo Cristo del rostro sereno
