The sun woke me up, I got up rested. Hungry cats greeted me and I fed them first. 🤭
I drank water and decided to walk the dogs before breakfast and before it gets too hot....
I was thinking where to "escape" from home today?! 🤔
I wanted to visit the river Nera, which flows past Bela Crkva.. They showed me the way so that I had an idea where I should go..
After lunch, my sister and I set off to explore the Nera River...
The car was heating up by the time we arrived (my air conditioner is broken, and it can't be fixed🤣) I couldn't wait to touch the water🤭
The Nera River is shallow, and especially now after the dry flight... For me it was a pleasure because we entered the water and walked along the river... In some places we got out of the water, but we spent most of the time in the water..
Only when we got into the water did I realize that I hadn't brought a swimsuit... 🥺
Which would be ideal for this place and time...
Nevertheless, I enjoyed walking through the cold water... The river can be crossed in some places, so we crossed to the other bank and continued to follow and explore the river and the bank...
There are many trees along the river and they are mostly willows... Whose gentle branches hang over the water... And it is like a tunnel that leads deeper into the exploration of the river...
We came across stairs on the opposite side of the river, on the bank of which there are benches and tables... So we stepped over the water, to rest a little on the couch...
Because we didn't bring anything to sit on 🤣
So, by choice, we came completely unprepared for this adventure...
They arranged part of the coast, set up benches and tables... and there was also a barbecue. Just to bring meat and coal. And there is also socializing with food 😁
When we rested, we looked for some more roads around the river...
And I photographed the river some more, it simply enchanted me... 🥰
While we were sitting, I was looking at the other shore...enjoying the silence, only the gentle murmur of the water could be heard...
When I looked into the distance, it was as if I had entered into some adventure...I imagine...a canoe and I row slowly, stop for a bit along the shore...I explore and continue sailing....
I am relaxed here, enjoying the sun through the branches and the river, which is so tame and clean..
I've never been on such a shallow river, and so many trees around it.... On this warm day, it's nice to sit in the shade and swim there, or in my case, walk on the water... I still wonder why I didn't wear a swimsuit ?! 🤣
