Covering the Cracks

This poem is me saying Cheers to loving wholly irrespective of the cracks in the heart😘

"The cracks never broke us,
We were only reshaped to love better, to love shamelessly,
To love so wholly, to love so loud!
For to love wholly makes life celestial!

Let us wield our celestial powers now that you are here my love,
For now that you are here, Solid and True Love is here.
We’ll blend in our darkness so much,
Our forms we will know and feel like brail is to deft fingers.

We’ll show forth our strength, and it will never be pride.
We’ll both be clumsy, and be comfortable in our awkwardness.
We’ll be familiar with our edges and curves, structure and form, form and feel so much that we can find each other in the dark and distance apart.

We’ll blend our lights; we will be a galaxy shining so bright and guiding,
We’ll love wholly and be so into each other;
You will never be too much, I will never too much, just always enough and always wanting more of us...."
