On July 21, 1987, rock band Dio's fourth studio album, "Dream Evil", was released.
It featured former Rough Cutt members Craig Goldie and Claude Schnell, and included the singles "All the Fools Sailed Away" and "I Could Have Been a Dreamer". "
Dream Evil" was the last Dio album to feature Murray on the cover, and the last album with drummer Vinny Appisi before the 1993 album Strange Highways. It was also the last album with bassist Jimmy Bain before Magica was released in 2000.
The album was also Schnell's last performance with Dio.
