Let me make it explicit, my friend, spiritual people say that when as human beings we move away from God, we run the risk of not fulfilling God's plan, and in this way we waste our time and energies in meaningless things that fill our soul with negative things that deteriorate us spiritually and physically.
In the sacred texts of the bible we read in James 4.8, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. You sinners, cleanse your hands; and you double-minded, purify your hearts.
Let me make it explicit, when with our actions we move away from God we condemn our hearts to pain and bad vibrations, but when we draw near we gain good energies and live in spiritual and physical joy.
