De las angustias de un hombre
cuya experiencia debe heredar

Nace la duda sobre la juventud
actual, confundida y engañada,
confianza no le inspira

Prefiere un simple discípulo
a una multitud enajenada
porque aprende quien abre
los mares de la mente

Muy a su pesar, ese soñado
discípulo tarda mucho en
llegar.

English Version

Of the anguish of a man
whose experience he must inherit

Doubt is born about today's
youth, confused and deceived,
Confidence does not inspire him

He prefers a simple disciple
to an alienated multitude
because he learns who opens
the seas of the mind

Much to his regret, this dreamed-of disciple takes a long time to
arrive.
