Ada slid her head out of the gap made by the opening door. The creaking sound of the door even made coming out more dreadful than she had thought. She still held her legs together, holding hoards of urine that has been threatening to ruin her all night.

“Wili Wili is outside” her sister Chika whispered, Ada shuddered, trickles of sweat ran across her eyelids, and glistered in the yellow light of the local palm oil lamp.

“Ada come out na” Her mother started, she had promised to escort her to the backyard to urinate.
Ada timed herself before taking the first step into the darkness with nothing but the palm oil lamps to guild her. She moved faster trying to catch her mother pace by pace but slowed down when she felt the explosion of urine coming.

“Wee here” her mother pointed at a spot and almost immediately the splashing sound of urine could be heard.
Chika chuckled as she whispered something to Ihuoma, and they both drowned the crickets wheezing with theirs.

“What are you laughing at” Their mother complained, as she turned to head back to the house with Ada on her heels. The culprits, Chika and Ihuoma quickly went back inside leaving a loud double creak of the wooden door in their wake.
