3-Part Weekend Freewrite
An explanation about freewrite in 3 parts, according to @mariannewest:
When we tried this for the first time, I was asked some good questions about this thing - this weekend freewrite.
That made me realize that this kind of prompt writing might feel very weird if you haven't been taking writing classes or have been around a writing community
Here is a bit more of an explanation: The several prompt-approach to freewriting is an exercise to take us out of what our usual thinking pattern and open new neuropathways in a sense. It forces us out of our comfort level and we write in a style or genre or about topics we never would on our own.
A second prompt makes us explore a completely new direction and challenges us to connect the story.
The third prompt forces us to once again to shift directions and figure out how to bring this story together and to an end.
It is kind of like driving to work on a familiar road. But suddenly, there is a detour and we end up driving through new neighborhoods and seeing all kinds of amazing things we never knew were there.
We often get stuck in shoulds and what we were told by a parent or teacher what a story, or writing, needs to be like...... you fill in the blanks. Or we just write that what we are familiar with.
This kind of freewrite helps to open the creative forces and let go of any restrictions we put on ourselves...
This time, it turned out like this:
The fifth element
"Okay, Granny, close your eyes and hold on to my arm"
Everything seemed to be going as expected, the "matriarch" had been convinced that she was jumping into a controlled vacuum. She had long refused to take that step because she saw no substance to it, why extend her individual consciousness and, above all, why submit to combining with another body knowing that survival was not guaranteed. The galaxy CID-987 was about to be absorbed by a supermassive black hole. And, although she was not sure she could create a solution because the afflictions of age on her body distracted her brilliant mind, the enlightened scientists of her planet devised to carry out the experiment with her. For this, the "donor" had to belong to her inheritance code. With a descendant there was a modest chance of success, the future played with cards rigged in favor of a dying present.

"The universes are collapsing, Granny, the radiation emitted by the expanding black hole limits the birth of new stars and that..." Aurelius could not continue speaking, Aurora surprised him with renewed energy because as they walked in the recovery plan, she was extending her radius of action, stepping over the obstacles posed by the search for a solution and he was almost running to keep up with her: That was the big difference between them - he was a jumper and she was a wader.

Cuando probamos esto por primera vez, me hicieron algunas buenas preguntas sobre esto: este fin de semana de escritura libre.
Eso me hizo darme cuenta de que este tipo de escritura rápida puede parecer muy extraño si no ha estado tomando clases de escritura o ha estado en una comunidad de escritura.
Aquí hay un poco más de una explicación: el enfoque de varias indicaciones para la escritura libre es un ejercicio para sacarnos de nuestro patrón de pensamiento habitual y abrir nuevas neurovías en cierto sentido. Nos saca de nuestro nivel de comodidad y escribimos en un estilo o género o sobre temas que nunca haríamos por nuestra cuenta.
Un segundo mensaje nos hace explorar una dirección completamente nueva y nos desafía a conectar la historia.
El tercer mensaje nos obliga una vez más a cambiar de dirección y descubrir cómo unir esta historia y terminar.
Es como conducir al trabajo en una carretera conocida. Pero de repente, hay un desvío y terminamos conduciendo por nuevos vecindarios y viendo todo tipo de cosas increíbles que nunca supimos que estaban allí.
A menudo nos quedamos atrapados en los "debería" y lo que un padre o un maestro nos dijo cómo debe ser una historia o un escrito ... llena los espacios en blanco. O simplemente escribimos eso con lo que estamos familiarizados.

El quinto elemento
"Bien, abuela, cierra los ojos y agárrate a mi brazo".
Todo parecía ir como se esperaba, la "matriarca" se había convencido de que saltaba a un vacío controlado. Hacía tiempo que se negaba a dar ese paso porque no le veía fundamento, para qué extender su conciencia individual y, sobre todo, para qué someterse a combinarse con otro cuerpo sabiendo que la supervivencia no estaba garantizada. La galaxia CID-987 estaba a punto de ser absorbida por un agujero negro supermasivo. Y, aunque no estaba segura de poder crear una solución porque los achaques de la edad en su cuerpo distraían su brillante mente, los científicos ilustrados de su planeta idearon llevar a cabo el experimento con ella. Para ello, el "donante" debía pertenecer a su código hereditario. Con un descendiente había una modesta posibilidad de éxito, el futuro se jugaba con cartas amañadas a favor de un presente moribundo.
"Hijo, en el espacio, hay cambio y movimiento todo el tiempo, pero es la conciencia relativa de la inercia, esa resistencia que nos preserva de la incertidumbre..."

Aurelius no pudo seguir hablando, Aurora lo sorprendió con una renovada energía, porque en la medida que caminaban, en plan de recuperación, ella iba extendiendo su radio de acción, pasando por encima de los obstáculos que le planteaba la búsqueda de una solución y él casi corría para llevarle el ritmo: Esa era la gran diferencia entre ellos: él era un saltimbanqui y ella una zancuda.
