Hello everyone! I hope you are having an excellent day. Today I want to share with you a new digital illustration I've been working on: a fanart of Lala Satalin Deviluke from To LOVE-Ru.
To be honest, this drawing gave me a hard time. I spent days postponing it because I got stuck during the shading and coloring phase, not quite knowing how to achieve that specific dynamic lighting and soft-cel blend I had in mind. But after taking a deep breath and confronting the canvas again, I managed to finish it with my head held high. I'm really happy with how it turned out!
Here is a quick look at the step-by-step process:
Initial sketch and structure.
Clean lineart ready before colors.
Base colors and initial warm ambient lighting.
Adding the first layer of cel-shading shadows.
Refining volumes, blending edges, and lighting.
Final details on eyes, hair highlights, and line color.
This artwork was made in the Ibis Paint X application with a canvas size of 1536x2048.

隆Hola a todos! Espero que est茅n teniendo un excelente d铆a. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una nueva ilustraci贸n digital en la que he estado trabajando: un fanart de Lala Satalin Deviluke de To LOVE-Ru.
Para ser honesto, este dibujo me cost贸 bastante. Estuve d铆as posponi茅ndolo porque me qued茅 estancado durante la fase de sombreado y color, sin saber muy bien c贸mo lograr ese equilibrio entre iluminaci贸n din谩mica y bordes suaves que ten铆a en cabeza. Pero despu茅s de respirar hondo y enfrentarme al lienzo de nuevo, logr茅 terminarlo con la cabeza en alto. 隆El resultado me gust贸 much铆simo!
Aqu铆 les comparto un vistazo r谩pido al paso a paso del proceso:
Boceto inicial y estructura.
Lineart limpio listo antes de los colores.
Colores base y luz ambiental c谩lida inicial.
A帽adiendo la primera capa de sombras estilo cel-shading.
Refinando vol煤menes, difuminando bordes y luces.
Detalles finales en ojos, brillos del cabello y color de l铆nea.
Esta obra fue realizada en la aplicaci贸n Ibis Paint X con un tama帽o de lienzo de 1536x2048.
