Time is running out

The clock is ticking. Soon it will be midnight, or Halloween, or the end of the year...
or the end of my life.

Today at work the hours went by so slowly. Last week on the island, in the woods and at the water's edge, time stood still, for a moment, and then it was gone faster than I could leap out of bed and yell shit I'm late for work who the hell at apple decided the alarm snooze should be nine minutes?!

I would rather rush headlong toward the gruesome decay of the inevitable grave, experiencing life as an endless stream of fleeting fantastic moments, than watch the seconds tick by in arduous agony, longing for each eternal day to come to an end. Unfortunately, it takes either a fuckload of money or a fuck-it-all hermit's heart to live the first kind of life. I have neither. But at least I have art, a kind of cathartic compromise.

Selfie of myself (duh) infected with eye lichen after a labyrinthian visit to David Bowie's grave.

Me, maybe, as a cross-eyed, sleep-deprived Steve Buscemi.

I dunno, either Shrek or an Orion Slave Boy.

Here's my last set of Halloween Selfies. I've decided to call this the Halloween Selfie Challenge. Do you DARE to post Halloween Selfies and tag me so that I may delight in their gruesomeness?

How to do it:
Step 1: Take a selfie of yourself looking ugly (or scary, or weird).
Step 2: Use an editing app of some kind to make it uglier (or scarier, or weirder).
Step 3 (no longer optional, per @dandays, the luckiest guy we know): Call it art.

Shoutout to @eve66 for being the first participant in my silly challenge.
