The story focuses on the year 1999 while there were wars in almost the entire planet, a gigantic alien ship crashes on an island in the South Pacific leaving destruction in its collision path, the planet earth is completely paralyzed when seeing such a monstrosity of a ship extraterrestrial, the wars stopped when realizing that there are aliens with a technological power superior to that of the forces of the earth and this time they unite to investigate the crashed ship thus starting a reverse engineering to make the gigantic ship called SDF1 work.

They called this new technology robot technology and destined for it all the resources of the planet, this process lasted ten years and just on the day of the inauguration of the takeoff of the reconstructed ship, a fleet of extraterrestrial ships appear from hyperspace, which turned out to be the Zentraedis, is a warrior race of gigantic cloned humanoids that come from the crashed ship, which in its entrails keeps the secret of proto culture, a kind of super energy, initiating the first battles that cause the ship to teleport by mistake near Pluto, taking on the way to macros island, with all its inhabitants and a couple of boats there, making SDF1 home to thousands of macros island survivors, thus starting a space odyssey to return to earth while fighting. against the Zentraedi.

The main characters in the series are mostly young people, military and air pilots; The adults represented the wisdom and the experience in the decisions, while the warrior race of extraterrestrial giants, are the villains of the series genetically modified by the masters of the robot technology to be their military force, they feel great aversion and disgust to the Affective relationships towards the opposite sex, the kisses of humans and the way we reproduce do not matter.

But the true protagonists of the saga are the robots, here this genre is taken a step further, these robots are more real, especially the main ship the SDF1, the gigantic alien ship modified by the terrestrials that has the ability to transform into a giant robot and use a gigantic arm that attacks the Zentraedi ships, his supreme weapon was the Reflex cannon that could vaporize an entire fleet of ships but were also complemented by a fauna of Robots armed to the teeth as defenders.

Robotech is in my memory and in one of the best stages of my life, where for the first time I was amazed to see an entire army of robots in action fighting, running and transforming, masterfully accompanied by one of the best soundtracks that I gave them. more epicity to this saga, it was nice to see some chapter again, just excellent!
