Despegaron 20 naves; partieron al espacio directo a Shaw. Se disponían a investigar ese planeta. Durante el viaje espacial observaron mucho polvo espacial multicolor, estrellas voladoras, asteroides flotantes. Fue un viaje largo y un poco inquietante, lleno de incertidumbre por saber a qué se enfrentarían en el planeta Shaw.
Cerca de la onda elíptica que rodea al planeta, no fueron bien recibidos. Les lanzaron rayos laser en el intempestivo ataque pero no pudieron evitar que alcanzaran dos naves, quedando desintegrados totalmente. Eran seres hostiles. Sin embargo los astronautas terrícolas pudieron soportar el ataque y someter a los seres extraños a rendirse ante la invasión.
La idea de la investigación se convirtió en una batalla obligada pero que al final, hubo un acercamiento en el cual se aclaró el propósito del viaje. Los habitantes del planeta Shaw cambiaron de actitud y mostraron a los visitantes algunas locaciones coloridas y bellas. También les regalaron minerales y otras muestras interesantes. Todos lamentaron lo sucedido debido a las pérdidas que sufrieron.

Greetings dear friends, readers and followers. This is my entry for the 40th edition of the Strange Contest.
Twenty ships took off; they went into space straight to Shaw. They set out to investigate that planet. During the space trip they observed a lot of multicolored space dust, flying stars, floating asteroids. It was a long and somewhat unsettling trip, full of uncertainty as to what they would face on the planet Shaw.
Near the elliptical wave surrounding the planet, they were not well received. Laser beams were fired at them in the untimely attack but could not prevent them from hitting two ships, being totally disintegrated. They were hostile beings. However, the Earth astronauts were able to withstand the attack and subdue the alien beings to surrender to the invasion.
The idea of research became a forced battle but in the end, there was a rapprochement in which the purpose of the trip became clear. The inhabitants of the planet Shaw changed their attitude and showed the visitors some colorful and beautiful locations. They also gave them minerals and other interesting samples. Everyone regretted what had happened because of the losses they had suffered.
