Greetings everyone,
I'm glad to participate in this Realtalk Weekly Prompt:

Does love fade when the bill arrives?

People used to say that love is sweet, but when money enters, love becomes sweeter.
In my own opinion, no — love does not fade when the bill arrives. Not everything is about money; what matters most is understanding. Because if each partner understands themselves in a relationship, they will know that money is just a small thing in their love life.

Don't quote me wrong — money is part of a relationship, but it is not the strong pillar. Money is just a backbone. There are a lot of ladies out there whose problem is no longer about money. What they are looking for is just attention and care. These two things I mentioned are the ones that uphold a relationship. Without them, a relationship is nothing.

I remember some years back, I was dating a lady. Both of us really loved ourselves to the extent that we didn’t keep secrets from each other. At that time, I can boldly say that this girl truly loved me.

It happened that I went broke to the extent that I didn’t have any amount in my bank account. One day, I called this girl to come to my place, and when she arrived, I advised her to find another person. She asked me why I was saying that, and I replied that it was because I was broke and didn’t want her to suffer. She told me that she couldn’t leave me just because I was broke. Then she mentioned that she had received her salary from her workplace, and before I knew it, she had sent money to my account.

That why I said love does not fade when the bill arrives.

Thanks for reading.
