So there I was, just minding my own business, perusing Hive, when I stumbled across the really wild and beautiful art of @clareartista .
After a short exchange in the comments, she shared with me this link to her catalogue - very impressive indeed! Her style is so vibrant and expressive, it inspired me to remember that there was once a time when I too, made art.
All my work has been relegated to a hidden loft I built in my shed. (Yes, the shed that has a secret art gallery loft adjacent to its rafters is the same shed that has a hidden underground fire room beneath its floor boards š)
Anyway, since Iām moving soon and will most likely leave all this behind, I thought this morning would be as good a time as any to forever commemorate my art on the blockchain.

The table below is probably pretty low grade stuff. These were my works from several years ago. They were good enough to display in my secret gallery, but probably not for much else. Nonetheless, I like them :)

This one, if memory serves me (and she does), was created on the outskirts of an LSD experience. Not sure how people here feel about that, but itās the truth. Itās been a long time since I did anything like that, but there was a timeā¦
And this one was a self portrait I did many years ago. I can be seen in this as vulnerable, supported by the kind words people have said about me, and shielding myself from the harsher criticisms Iāve received.
In the two above, written word played a big role in the overall composition; this is a style I really embraced and meshed well with back when I was composing more art. Just as in my Dream Journal entries, I tend to prefer to write upside-down and backwards. It doesnāt make the writing impossible to decode, but it gives it a sense of mysticism and adds to the aesthetic of the words. And while not impossible to decipher, it does make it so the words will only be read by those who really want to read them.
