Friends of #wednesdaywalk , I am very happy to be with you again, as every Wednesday, wishing you a great day. I will share with you one more week in the interesting initiative of @tattoodjay , which motivates us to share our journey and see the journey of other hives that are very interesting.
This week for me started with quite a lot of work, which is a good thing, as the Island is full of seasonalists who will be on their way back and forth until September. Today I left early because I had to be at one of the Sunsol.

Compartiré con ustedes una semana más en la interesante iniciativa de @tattoodjay , que nos motiva a compartir nuestro recorrido y ver el de otros hives que son muy interesantes.
Esta semana para mí comenzó con bastante trabajo, lo cual es algo bueno, ya que la Isla está llena de temporadistas que estarán en su ir y venir hasta septiembre. Hoy salí temprano porque tenía que estar en uno de los Sunsol.
After finishing, I decided to take my return home more calmly and show you how beautiful El Cardón beach is.
I want to share this beauty with all of you. I will start by telling you that in this sector, most of the families that live there are fishermen, and for them, having all the beaches clean is one of the most important things and they take care of it zealously.
Al terminar, decidí tomarme mi regreso a casa con más calma y mostrarles lo hermoso que tiene la playa El Cardón.
Quiero compartir con todos ustedes esta belleza. Comenzaré diciéndoles que en este sector, la mayoría de las familias que viven son de pescadores, y para ellos, tener todas las playas limpias es una de las cosas más importantes y cuidan celosamente por eso.
On my tour of El Cardón beach, I noticed a small chapel right next to the sea, dedicated to San Pedro. The chapel is meticulously decorated; although it is small, it has all the basics: door and small windows decorated with seashells around the windows. At the top of the window, they placed some beautiful shell flowers. The entire edge of the door is decorated with shells and large snails.
En mi recorrido por la playa El Cardón, pude apreciar una pequeña capilla justo junto al mar, dedicada a San Pedro. La capilla está meticulosamente decorada; aunque es pequeña, tiene todo lo elemental: puerta y pequeñas ventanas decoradas con conchas de mar alrededor de la ventanas. En la parte superior de la ventana, colocaron unas hermosas flores de concha. Todo el borde de la puerta está decorado con conchas y grandes caracoles.
The chapel is painted greenish blue, like the seabed. The other part, which reaches the floor, is decorated with stones and shells in the shape of flowers, covering all that part of the wall. Upon entering, you will find the image of St. Peter, very well cared for, and you could not miss a nice bouquet of flowers.
La capilla está pintada de azul verdoso, como el fondo marino. La otra parte, que llega hasta el suelo, está decorada con piedras y conchas en forma de flores, cubriendo toda esa parte de la pared. Al entrar, se encuentra la imagen de San Pedro, muy bien cuidada, y no podría faltar un buen ramo de flores.
I have enjoyed watching this small chapel for its details in snail, shells and marine stones of different colors. Right in front of it, looking out to sea, you can see the friars, an excellent place for fishermen, as they get large schools of small tuna and the clear waters make it easy to catch lobsters. This was told to me by the locals who have a kiosk near this beautiful chapel.
Me he recreado mucho viendo esta pequeña capilla por sus detalles en caracol, conchas y piedras marinas de diferentes colores. Justo frente a ella, mirando al mar, se ven los frailes, un excelente lugar para los pescadores, ya que se consiguen grandes cardúmenes de atuncitos y las aguas transparentes facilitan la captura de langostas. Esto me lo contaron los lugareños que tienen un kiosco cerca de esta bella capilla.
And we could not miss the Guayamuri hill, which looks beautiful from different parts of the island. It is a view that those of us who live here always enjoy.
Y no podía faltar ver el cerro Guayamuri, que se ve hermoso desde diferentes lugares de la Isla. Es una vista que siempre disfrutamos los que vivimos aquí.
I continued my tour watching how the air played with the palm trees. I have a predilection for them; although I was born and raised in the city, I have always found them special and very beautiful. Seeing them standing upright on the seashore is impressive. They complement very well the landscape by the sea and the blue sky.
Continué mi recorrido viendo cómo el aire jugaba con las palmeras. Tengo predilección por ellas; aunque nací y me crié en la ciudad, siempre me han parecido especiales y muy hermosas. Verlas erguidas en la orilla del mar es impresionante. Complementan muy bien el paisaje junto al mar y el cielo azul.
On one part of the shore of El Cardón beach, fishermen set up their boats, leaving them ready for the next day's work.
En una parte de la orilla de la playa El Cardón, los pescadores arriman sus botes, dejándolos listos para su faena del día siguiente.
The sand, grape plants and the sea on the shore also looked beautiful in their complement.
La arena, las plantas de uva y el mar en la orilla también se veían hermosas en su complemento.
I like to do this tour every time I have some time, and I always discover something different and beautiful.
