Wednesday Walk - Visit to Park Stojčevac - Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Hello everyone.
After some snow weather is getting warmer. This weekend on Sunday with friends we visited Park Stojčevac. It is beautiful park located in Ilidža, one of the municipalities of city Sarajevo. It is close to Velika Aleja - place where I went couple week back. Park Stojčevac is located near mountain Igman and it is place where you want to be during summer.
There is small spring and water pound. It is quite beautiful picnic area.

There are renovations around the place. There are some new sitting places and banks. Last time when I was here there was none of this sitting areas. It was nice surprise.

There are a lot of trees and greenery. When summer arrives it should be more green and colorful.

We choose one of the free places to sit and drink some tea.

After that we went for a walk around the park.

There are small huts in the park.

After couple minutes of walk we come to the water pond. It is refreshing and relaxing place.

Spring is small but there is a lot of water coming from here.

We went around the water pound. Reflections in the water are really nice.

There is a wooden platform to walk around the pond.

I assume that this small house is for swans. It would be really nice to see them around. Normally there are ducks here and while we were going couple of them came and landed in the water.
Beautiful view.

It was quite relaxing spending time here and walking around.

On the back of the Park Stojčevac there is tunnel in the mountain that lead to Pavilion in the back. . We entered couple meters but decided not go. Maybe if it is renovated it would be interesting to explore the tunnels.

This is spring of this little creek

Spring is not that much big but there is a lot of water around.

After walking around for some time more we called it a day.
It was nice and refreshing walk. Air is fresh and you are away from crowd and noise. It was worth coming and spending Sunday afternoon here.
Hope you liked it.
