Wednesday Walk - Old Bazaar Sarajevo and mountain Trebević

Hello everyone.
Back at #WednesdayWalk challenge after some time.
This weekend we decided to go and visit Old Bazaar in Sarajevo. Weather was chill and somewhat cold. We started with visit to Old Bazaar (Baščaršija) and after that we went to mountain Trebevic and spent some time there. Mountain Trebevic was not as cold as I expected. We walked along Olympic Bobsleigh and Luge track on mountain Trebevic.

These are streets of Old Bazaar. Many shops around the walking areas.

So many interesting and beautiful souvenirs.

Getting closer to central Old Bazaar.

This is Sebilj. Sebilj is Ottoman style wooden fountain.

Many pigeons on the Old Bazzar waiting for food.

But first coffee time.

There is so many pigeons in Old Bazaar in Sarajevo. You can buy food and feed them. They will jump all over you. Here pigeons are not afraid of people. They wait for food and drink water on Sebilj.

More shops.

So this is Cable Car to Trebevic. Cable Car is 2200 meters in length and it takes around 8 minutes to reach the top.

And yes, views from the Cable Car are beautiful.
You can see Sarajevo as you go to the top of mountain.

Snow starts to appear as we go higher.

This cat was enjoying cozy and warm chair.

It was good time to visit Trebević and was not so cold as you would expect to be in December.

Some snow on walking trails.

City Sarajevo.
It was foggy this weekend. You can see it all over the valley and city.

Trail continues.

Cable Car and photo time.

We continue toward the Bobsleigh tracks.
Along the way there are more people going for a hike.

Here it is.
You can see tracks on the right.
Walking pathways are along the Bobsleigh tracks.
Olympic Bobsleigh and Luge track are made for 1984 Winter Olympics that were held in Sarajevo.

Trail continues.

Time to go back.

We had nice time in Trebević. Walk was very enjoyable.
