Even though I feel like this happened yesterday, two weeks have already passed since I shared my Shop Windows of Murano Island, Italy post. So I thought I'd do it again, but obviously from a different city and country. In fact, this is a really cool way to explore the differences between countries and cultures too.
I'll begin with a trigger warning that this will also include shop windows of weed and Cannabis, and I felt like making this statement since they are illegal in Romania and perhaps in some other countries too.
Sadly, we knew nothing about this but only about the Netherlands and especially Amsterdam which is well known for this guilty pleasure, and the biggest surprise came when we arrived in Prague quite late at night and while we were waiting in the airport for our bus to come by, we were forced to deal with two homeless people who were obvious very high.
Happily, nothing happened, but being a group of five girls that were constantly followed and talked with in a foreign language was not fun, but let's say that was the moment when we figured out Prague might have consumers of this kind too.
While we had no time for lots of research based on this thing, our thoughts were slowly confirmed by the tens of walks we had in town where every once in a while we were running in a Cannabis Shop.
But as curiosity and temptation are two features that human beings have more or less, we ended up entering a souvenir shop where we could see some of these products too. We didn't try any of them out though.
Not sure if a shop, but definitely something that could turn everyone's head at least due to the smells full of flavours! However, I'll only leave these pictures for now as I intend to write a whole post about my experience with the traditional food and beverage from Prague.
If you've seen this post, then you might recognize this picture. It was taken while visiting the National Library of Technology from Prague and along with all the beauty you could find inside, there was also a little shop on the first floor. We didn't enter it though.
Last but not least, another popular window shop we spotted was with handmade decorations where plenty of them were for Christmas which is interesting as we visited Prague in September so there was plenty of time left until the holidays. But they were really nice so couldn't miss the chance to shoot at least one window shop including them!
Oh.. and I almost forgot the most interesting part, lol! Lots of Sex Shops! Not sure if we walked in the wrong parts of the city but did spot plenty of these. Don't blame me for taking a picture of them with my girls in front. There were too many things exposed in the window shop! Haha
