Vung Bot - The meeting place of Bac River and Nam River

It's Wednesday again! Let's leave the desk behind and walk around and discover interesting things. As a nature lover, today I continue to choose a natural place to explore. And the place that I discovered today is Vung Bot - The meeting place of Bac River and Nam River.

As mentioned above, Vung Bot is where the Bac River (the river in the North) and the Nam River (the river in the South) combine to form the legendary Cu De river flowing through the Hoa Bac mountains of Da Nang. Therefore, Vung Bot is a confluence of rivers. This topographical feature happened to create a nice area to chill out. In the rainy season, water from the surrounding mountains flows here forming a large body of water. In the dry season like this, the water level drops and reveals a very chill area next to the romantic river.

So this is a place that has recently attracted a lot of people on weekends. On clear days, the place becomes packed with people. People come here to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful nature with family and friends. I came here on a Wednesday today so the place was mostly empty. Actually, I prefer quiet places like this. That's why I also prefer walking on midweek days like Wednesday and Thursday rather than Saturday and Sunday.

Viewed from Vung Bot, we can see the bridge crossing the Nam River to connect the two villages of the Co Tu ethnic group together. So this place is not only a meeting place of nature but also of people. Perhaps this place is a romantic dating place for many couples of the Co Tu ethnic group here.

Walk and find peace. Beautiful nature, cool water, fresh air...what else do I need for a relaxing afternoon? I will definitely add this to my list of favorite camping spots. It will also be the point where I will bring my family and friends when we need a place to chill out. And of course, if there's a chance I'd be happy to lead you there.
