Es mi primera vez publicando por acá, me encanta esta comunidad y todos los lugares lindos que comparten. Quiero llevarte a conocer un poco de la ciudad en la que vivo actualmente, Ciego de Ávila. 🥰
Ciego, está situada en el centro de Cuba, es pequeña pero muy tranquila y acogedora. No voy a dar todas las latitudes geográficas, pero al Norte se encuentran los Cayos Coco y Guillermo, los cuales amo visitar en cualquier época del año, y espero hacer un post muy pronto sobre ellos. 😎

This is my first time posting here, I love this community and all the beautiful places you share. I want to take you to know a little bit of the city where I currently live, Ciego de Avila. 🥰
Ciego, is located in the center of Cuba, it is small but very quiet and cozy. I'm not going to give all the geographical latitudes, but to the north are the Coco and Guillermo Cays, which I love to visit at any time of the year, and I hope to do a post very soon about them.😎
Volviendo al tema, tengo hermosas recuerdos en "El Parque Martí". Situado en el mismo centro, aquí convergen cada día personas de todas las edades. Los sábados en particular, se llena de niños que vienen con sus padres a montar patines y bicicleta, cosa que me encanta.
Returning to the subject, I have beautiful memories in "El Parque Martí". Located in the very center, people of all ages converge here every day. On Saturdays in particular, it is full of children who come with their parents to ride skates and bicycles, which I love.
Este, da inicio al Boulevard, calle Independecia, y en frente de él, observamos el Doce Plantas, edificio desde donde tomé las fotos. Subí hasta la décima planta, por las escaleras, y así cumplí con mi actividad cardio del día. 😉

El último piso de esta construcción es un restaurante, "El Solaris", en el cuál sirven comida criolla y cuenta también con una terraza que en la noche ofrece vistas expectaculares y una brisa riquísima.

Frente al parque también está la Iglesia Católica, San Eugenio de la Palma, escenario de múltiples bodas y bautizos a lo largo de varias generaciones. Cuando era niña me encantaba ver salir a los novios vestidos de traje para montarse en el carro lleno de globos.❤

En una de las esquinas del boulevard se encuentra el Coppelia, el cual permanece cerrado, por motivos que desconozco, pero que un día sirvió para refrescar a todos los Avileños del calor o para degustar un sabroso helado de chocolate.🍨

El Hotel Rueda, recuperado de las ruinas hace poco, es una de las grandes y hermosas construcciones de la ciudad. Resalto que sirven un delicioso café y presume una terraza preciosa, aunque en esta ocasión no tomé ninguna foto.

Cuentan que haciendo excavaciones para extraer rocoso un buen día comenzó a brotar agua y tuvieron que abandonar los equipos y salir corriendo porque el lugar se inundó totalmente, dando inicio a la Turbina, como antes la llamaban.

Estas flores me las encontré en mi recorrido, pertenecen a las plantas que crecen en el agua y me parecieron hermosas.

Antes se podía dar un paseo en bicicleta acuática a lo largo del lago, pero ahora tampoco está funcionando, es una lástima, porque era una muy buena opción para pasar el tiempo con la familia y amigos.
