This is a post to go with #WednesdayWalk challenge by @tattoodjay.
Yesterday, during an evening walk, which can be considered a night walk, I saw that the church, which was located on this embankment, had burned. This is a very big nuisance, or rather it is a real trouble. It turned out that this accident had happened the day before, even the water remaining on the asphalt had not yet had time to freeze completely. I sent an SMS to my friends and they were very upset about this news.
Friends, you will laugh, but I went for a walk again without a camera, but with a simple iPhone. I wasn't going to go towards the river, but it just so happened that I ended up here. At this time of day it was almost deserted, only a few couples met me.
22:30. The sky is covered with dense low clouds. The light of a big city is reflected in these clouds and creates illumination over the entire space for a long distance. If I were in the forest right now, it would be dark around me, but I can see almost the entire river. It is very interesting.
I decided to walk to the rotunda, which is located in the park and beckoned with its lighting to me.
There are 2 rotundas in the park. One on the steep bank of the river, and the second on the edge of the ravine. By the way, the ravine is named after the only battle that took place in this city. This happened in 1412. And it was a night battle between the Allied forces. The residents of Vyatka thought that enemies had landed on the bank, but it turned out that friends had arrived to help. And in the absolute darkness there was a fight. Since then, no one has attacked Vyatka anymore. There is a saying: "Beat your own, so that strangers are afraid." It was a very sad event.
Well, that's probably all. It's time to turn in the opposite direction. The general walk took me about an hour. The weather is wonderful, almost spring. Such weather rarely happens in January, but it still happens.
Well. I wish all my friends, observers, and readers wonderful walks on Wednesdays. And also on Sundays and any other day!
