There are days when time passes, and I can't find the right inspiration to make a post that convinces me. I am in such circumstances today, April 4. This Thursday passed with a couple of details, on the one hand, I found out about work problems of my closest sister. I managed to help her with one of her bureaucratic immigration procedures, but I can't do much more than that, since we live in two countries different and the help I can give is rather limited.

Hay días en los que se me pasa el tiempo y no logro dar con la inspiración adecuada para hacer un post que me convenza. En tales circunstancias estoy hoy, 4 de abril. Este jueves ha transcurrido con un par de detalles, por una parte, me enteré de problemas laborales de mi hermana más cercana, logré ayudarla con uno de sus trámites burocráticos de migración, pero no puedo hacer mucho más que eso, pues vivimos en dos países distintos y la ayuda que puedo dar es más bien escasa.

This is in addition to the fact that I recently found out that one of my closest cousins, who also migrated out of Venezuela, was denied the license process that he needed to continue working, so he was legally 'out of work', and he has to look for how to retake the exam. But it seems that they recommended that he take the exam in another location, since it seems that where he is, there is animosity on the part of officials, so the passing rate of these evaluations is ridiculously low.
In a closer area, insecurity problems continue due to robberies and thieves breaking into properties close to home. That doesn't help my brother's and mine's nerves, but there's not much we can do.
I would like to share things in a better spirit. Well, today we went out to buy groceries at a nearby vegetable fair, so that part of the day was good. Let's admit that prices have increased due to the crazy inflation we have, and the violent depreciation of the value of our national currency. So I won't say that this was completely relaxing either, as it added a different type of stress.

Esto se suma a que hace poco me enteré de que uno de mis primos más cercanos, que también migró fuera de Venezuela, le negaron el trámite de licencia que necesitaba para seguir trabajando, así que quedó legalmente ‘en paro’, y le toca buscar como volver a presentar el examen. Pero parece que le recomendaron que hiciera en examen en otra localidad, pues parece que en donde está él, hay una animadversión de parte de funcionarios, así que la tasa de aprobación de estas evaluaciones es ridículamente baja.
En un terreno más cercano, siguen los problemas de inseguridad por robos y rateros metiéndose en propiedades cerca de casa. Eso no ayuda con los nervios de mi hermano y los míos, pero no podemos hacer mucho.
Me gustaría compartir cosas de mejor ánimo. Bueno, hoy salimos a comprar víveres en una feria de hortalizas cercanas, así que esa parte del día fue buena. Admitamos que los precios se han incrementado por la inflación loca que tenemos, y la depreciación violenta del valor de nuestra moneda nacional. Así que tampoco diré que esto fue relajante plenamente, pues sumó un tipo diferente de estrés.
