GREETINGS

I hope your day is marvelous, it is the Lords doing. I am alive and here in the #wearealive tribe saying happy blessed day to you all my fellow hivers. Hope you are favored today.

A shortcoming is a flaw, a failing, or a weakness. A shortcoming is anything that makes you incomplete, a minus in your life, or whatever makes you deficient. It is anything that can contribute to your failure or your lack of success. If you go by that definition, then you must agree with me that there is nobody alive that does not have a shortcoming. Your shortcomings could be your age, your past, your background, your origin, your looks, your lack of education, your financial condition, or your health. It could be anything, sometimes what is a benefit for one person is a shortcoming for another.

If everybody has a shortcoming, then why do most persons despite their shortcomings go on to become influential and successful people, while others with what many may consider less of a shortcoming make a colossal mess of their lives? I believe that it all has to do with how we interpret what we consider as our shortcomings.

Your interpretation of a situation is predicated on the kinds of questions you ask yourself. When you are faced with a shortcoming you need to ask yourself how you can use that situation to your advantage rather than obsessing about how destroyed you are because of that situation.
