We are Alive! Yesterday was an incredible day, I was working on a laptop project for a client and discovered he needed it Friday. Fine, except I need to be back by nightfall and... well... the laptop isn't done. I thought it was done, but surprise (it's a computer after all) we have error messages popping up after an update. GRRR. Why?
I scramble to get the lappy ready and plead with my client via text. Maybe Monday? No? Sunday? No? You are leaving Saturday morning? OH.
By the grace of the Almighty, I was able to finish the project by 3 pm, giving me enough time to drive to drop off the machine (about 45 minute drive) and get back before dark. I get out the door and drive to the destination. Pick up another laptop and begin the journey home and... rush hour traffic.
What a day!
I'm sitting in traffic watching the sun get lower and lower in the sky. Patience... patience. Move the car when traffic moves.
I roll into the driveway just as the sun was setting. Wow!
