A-ha! If the past two days were rainy, today Metro Manila was declared under state of calamity. You can read about it here : NCR placed under state of calamity amid massive floods. I checked earlier tonight after feeding the outdoor kitties, the street below is still flooded. 😱 It never used to be that bad. 🙄
When it rains, it pours. As the saying goes. Today was such a day for us. It's as if a few months' worth of rain was dumped on this one day. 🙃 I would have preferred a daily rain shower (just to cool down each day). Well, I can't complain. I did pray for rain and cooler weather. 🙏❄️ It has so far stopped raining. Let's see how it goes when I wake up tomorrow.
Alive&Thriving Midweek : Stake ALIVE Tokens
It's that time of the week for staking ALIVE tokens. Yes, @flaxz I'm still doing my best for the tribe. Hopefully, we'll hear from Erik soon. I believe updates are long overdue. 🤔
A new whiteboard was added to the bedroom wall. This one will hold the ref magnets of my daughter's adventures in Spain. There's one from her Madrid trip (when she watched The Eras Tour) and the rest from her Barcelona adventures. I'm sure she will be collecting more. These happened to be the ones she sent via the DHL package from a month ago.
Strange but today's bed weather reminds me of days of old. It was more fun then as I had Mom and my daughter to stay indoors with. These days I only have the guinea pigs and kitties. I'm glad I need not water the plants, but I do need to sweep by the door and cattopia as it gets wet. Poor outdoor kitties. They do need to seek drier places to camp out for the night. I'm confident they're quite capable (as long as there are no inhumans mistreating them).
I'm actively working on these affiliate sites. Glad I can do more these days. Hopefully, getting to pay out limit on LeadsLeap happens faster.
I'm glad that it's so cool that I could even skip turning on some electric fans. Plus, I can also cook during lunch. 😂 I decided to make cream of mushroom soup. 😋 Yummy! Happy to have leftovers for tomorrow too. I wonder if it will still be cool weather for tomorrow. Stay tuned.
