#AliveOnThursday Staking Contest - Prizes Of 1000 ALIVE Tokens

Important notice: Starting at next weeks payout we will make a big update to the prize structure of this contest.

We will have 2 groups of prizes.

In group 1 are all that have less than 1000 ALIVE tokens staked as their starting stake, and they will split a total of 500 ALIVE tokens in prizes with the same set up as we have now.

In group 2 are all that have 1000 ALIVE tokens staked or more as their starting stake, and they will split 500 ALIVE tokens worth of ALIVEM as prizes and the same set up as now with percentage increase as the determining factor, and with ALIVE valued as Highest Bid, and ALIVEM as the price we sell them for as a tribe.

There are a few reasons for doing this, and first of all is that I am not personally able to keep up with paying for the prizes as the tribe is growing as fast as we are now.

Secondly is that apart from staked ALIVE increasing the value of our token, this staking contest is also a way that we are spreading out the stake, and it has done wonders for that, but now we also have a large number of stakeholders with a big ALIVE stake, and with this change we can focus on helping newcomers get to their first 1k ALIVE staked.

And for the larger stakeholders adding more ALIVEM builds a passive long term income, which they can also use to stake more ALIVE with, and earn staking rewards with.

In all this adds incentives for keeping the Highest Bid of ALIVE as high as possible, since that will mean more ALIVEM in rewards, plus we keep a way to boost newcomers into a good position in the tribe and this means higher retention of ALIVE stakeholders, and then all other things that comes as a result of this.

So here is the prize payout for the Alive On Thursday staking contest, the total prize sum is 1000 ALIVE tokens that gets paid out as stake to eligeble accounts according to the rules of the contest.

The goal of this contest is to encourage people to stake their ALIVE tokens, and also to increase demand for it at the same time, plus using percentage as the determining factor is to encourage low stakeholders and newbies a bit extra.

How Does It Work?

To take part in this contest then here is how it works and what rules to follow.

Make a comment below with your username and a screenshot of your current ALIVE Power, before staking, if you have a calculated starting stake you can skip the screenshot but you still need to make a comment, it is only opt in to take part.
Stake ALIVE tokens in your account and make sure to do so before next Thursday.
If you have below 100 ALIVE Power you can still take part, but the calculation will use 100 AP as the minimum current stake, your increase in AP will still be the whole amount that you staked though.
If you have unstaked and then take part again, your current stake will be counted as the all time high which you have had in the contest including the stake of the prize payout, and only stake that goes above that will count.
Next Thursday I will put the numbers together for all participants and calculate how much percentage increase they have made since the start.
The percentage increase is then what determines how much of the ALIVE givaway they get in relation to everyone else.
Once all prizes are calculated I will pay out the full ALIVE token giveaway to eligeble participants, and the tokens will be staked to their accounts.
