Gift, Shade and Helen have been friends for over 20years. Shade and Helen works in a paper company, while Gift works as a manager in her fiance's company.
Despite the closeness of these 3 friends, Helen has always been envious of Gift success and relationship life.
Unlike Gift, Helen and Shade have been finding it difficult to keep a man but they never allowed it to affect their friendship though Gift was always boastful of her man
Helen was laid off from work and no where to go because she was staying at the company's house. Gift took her in and they became roommates, that was when she became more envious of her friend. Gift's boyfriend Emeka came over for some days and during his stay Helen has been trying all possible ways to get Emeka lay in bed with her but Emeka never agreed.
One night while in bed Gift saw how disturbed her man was and asked what was wrong. He explained the situation of things to his fiancee but refused to send her packing like her fiance has suggested saying she only did it out of lust and that she won't attempt such again.
Helen's dirty behavior continued because Gift kept quiet about what Emeka told her.
One certain day when Helen tried to play again with Emeka, he gave her a stern warning saying "only death can separate him from his lover". Helen was pained by the situation and ranted about how gift has always had it easy right from childhood.
She then made up her mind to kill gift since that is the only way Emeka can look at her sexually. Several methods were adopted but her plans keep failing without anyone knowing the cause. She then decided to try food poisoning; she made a meal for her friend claiming she would be tired after and doesn't want her stressing herself. Emeka never trusted Helen because he knew of her dirty ways, he warned Gift about it but Gift insisted there was no way her beloved friend would try to kill her because she can't betray her just to have her man. Emeka then decided to eat the meal prepared by Helen. Few minutes after he ate it he gave up the ghost.
