HEALTHINESS DEPENDS ON RIGHT FEEDING

Hi friends, how has been your day? Here is my entry to #Hivelearners W19E1 featured contest which I tag: Healthiness Depends On Right Feeding

Been healthy is directly proportional to feeding right, healthiness depends on your consumption. If you can not control what you put in your mouth, then you will have yourself to blame when the repercussion comes. To stay healthy, you need to properly choose your diet whether it will be based on natural or processed foods.

Natural foods are fresh foods that is, foods that comes from nature and can be consumed directly without any process or addition of additives except to cook and enjoy it. Some natural foods can be eating raw without boiling like fruits and some vegetables, just to rinse with water and eat. Natural foods are advantageous to the health and relatively cheaper than processed foods.

Meanwhile, Processed foods also know as junk foods are foods that have gone through series of industrial processes. The addition of preservatives or artificial additives makes the foods last longer and also enhances the taste and color. They most times comes in packaged forms, they include: tomato paste, pasta, bread, milk, cereals, cookies, carbonated drinks, fruit juice, yoghurt etc the lists are numerous. They are very enticing and if one is not careful with it, there will definitely be a problem.

But can we really live without processed foods? NO!

The truth is, processed foods are usually the fastest answer to our daily needs which can not be neglected. But consuming large quantity of junk foods is detrimental to health. It can lead to obesity, diabetes, high blood sugar, dental problems, cancer etc. So what we need is moderation in our consumption. They taste sweeter and often help to save time and stress. But an adage says too much of everything is bad, so the consumption should be minimal so as to stay healthy.

Although natural foods tends to spoil easily, I still prefer it to junk foods because natural food taste better, nourishes the body, makes the skin glow and it's also affordable compare to processed foods. The truth is that we can not depend on only one of the food, we need both for survival. So, I believe ones diet should be more of natural foods and less of processed foods.

Let's always be conscious of our feeding, so as to stay healthy. Healthiness depends on right feeding!
