It is funny how my mum speaks of how piriton and ventolin cures cough, carttarh, headache, body pain, fever, and also stomach pain all at the same time.
Especially that piriton, someone once prescribed it as a sleeping pill. Years ago, the same piriton was used in combination with Chloroquine to ease the itching effect of the antimalarial drug.
Self-medication is nothing but a gamble that can go right or wrong. Whenever it goes wrong, the effect is always devastating.
