What is the most expensive thing you want right now but can't get?

The Most expensive thing I need right now is a Television in my living room. What's the beauty of having a parlour and sets of chairs without a Television to give life to it? So the television I need now, which I can not afford to get at the moment, is a 55 - 65 inches smart Tv.

Truth, there is a lot of need, but this triumphs over us, and the reason is simple. I got my apartment over 7 months ago, and setting it up has been one of the most demanding and cash-sapping projects I have ever done. From payment of the apartment to payment of agents fee and other fees like agreement and commission is money-consuming.

After getting the apartment, I had to repaint all the rooms, kitchen and bathrooms to my taste. All this resulted in unplanned expenses, which ate deep into my finances. As someone getting an apartment for the first time in Lagos, I had to get everything in the house new. Things from the plates, gas cooker, gas burners, plates and spoons. Not forgetting beds, fans, sofas, bed frames, office desks, curtains, and other stuff needed to ease my life and make my place more homely.

Now that this other stuffs are on the ground, taking my place top-notch requires me to get the Tv to have something to place for visitors who want to visit me. At the moment, accepting visitors to my place is a nono as what keeps them entertained is unavailable.

And how do you plan on working toward it?

Ever since getting the television was identified as the next item needed to make my place to live, I have been putting in measures to cut costs on a lot of this. I have cut costs on the amount spent on having fun at bars and lounges. I am the life at the party and ensure I treat myself well with my money. However, my spending has been cut these days as I tend to limit the time and money I spend at bars; I even hardly go to bars these days.

Also, I have upped my saving habit. To get the money to get my TV, which cost around 350 to 550k Naira, I have been saving more money from my daily income, I save 50 % of my salary, and I also save 20 % of my income from the hive blockchain My income on the hive is relatively low as barely make more than $10 on my best days. I still need money to feed and take care of other daily expenses.

So the two ways I have been working on getting the money needed for my TV are through cost reduction and improving my saving habits. In naira, I need a total of 550k naira, which translates to 837.20 USD and also translates to 2845.8 Hive.
