Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This is going to be Week 63, Edition 02 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are currently on our second topic for this week which is, “MENTAL HEALTH”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “LOST CHILDHOOD FRIENDS”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about their childhood friends and how they lost contact with them.
We got to see how some friendships came to be and how it ended, also we also got to know how things will be if members did get to see themselves again. It was an enlightening topic indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w63e1 tags. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us about the friend he made back when he was eight. They met at his Uncle’s house and hit it off almost immediately. It was a beautiful friendship but ended when the family had to move out of the area. Till date, they’ve not been able to reconnect.
UNSOLVED MYSTERY OF THE HEART by @darthsauron
For this author, he shared the moment he lost his bestfriend to an auto accident. And what made it worse was the fact that the culprit was not held responsible. Till today, the pain left by her passing is still felt keenly by him. Hopefullly, he would be able to find closure soon.
IMMIGRATION IS A HARD FULL STOP TO FRIENDSHIP @gwajnberg
This author shared his story with us. He told us about his childhood friend that both of them did things together, however as they grew older, slowly drifted apart. They made different choices and their choices landed them where they are today. And for his childhood friend, things are not good at all.
