So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on the second topic for this week which is “MAXIMUM EARNINGS”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic which was “PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the state of public transportation in their respective areas. From the pricing to the condition of the vehicles and even the infrastructure. There are so many factors that go into making public transportation an enjoyable ride for everyone involved.
We got to see the different ways these affected the people. We saw the benefits and disadvantages of some public transportation systems in some cities and also got to see the different ways they could be fixed for a more enjoyable ride.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w128e1 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us about how challenging it was traveling around when in Brazil. From the hectic traffic jams to the unreliable bus schedules, everything always seemed to interfere, making the trips unnecessarily long and unenjoyable for everyone involved.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND IT’S DIFFICULTIES by @shiftrox
For this author, he complained about how the fares of buses in the area always seem to go up, but nothing is done about the maintenance or innovations that would make travel easier for the customers. A public transport system that is more customer-focused would be one that everyone would enjoy in the long run.

For this author, she talked about how the price of fuel in her area had contributed to making transportation as a whole quite burdensome. And in public transport, it caused an increase in the fare, causing people to pay more for going the same distance. Then, she mentioned how bad vehicles and careless driving were major issues faced by commercial drivers. In the end, getting a better functioning transport system is something everyone will work towards. We all have a role to play in bringing that vision to life.
