Greetings everyone.
Celebrating an anniversary is one tradition that a lot of us have come to fondly appreciate. Anniversaries are not necessarily based on huge happenings; it all boils down to how we rate those events because it's the value we attach to them that matters.
I've not really been current with celebrating anniversaries, and that's because I usually find it too noisy to celebrate most of them. Of course, I have had many good events in my life that are worth celebrating as anniversaries, but I guess because I'm not the social type, I find it difficult to make all the noise in marking an anniversary.
But this year, it seems I'm going to put on a big show for my birthday, which is just Ā£91 days* away. This is one anniversary I don't forget easily because even if it tries to slip from my memory on that day, I have a lot of people who usually call, text, or chat to remind me. Even if no one remembers, the numerous banks I have accounts with are always there to remind me with the text messages.
Why this anniversary?

Like I learned from a very good friend, he told me that birthdays are not just for fun but a day to be heartily grateful for life and the hurdles passed in the journey of life. I saw clearly the importance on what he said and I've been operating on this principal
For sure, fun is not left out, but I take it to heart to be greatly thankful for a year full of life despite the challenges that have shown their ugly heads in previous years, even though I didn't really hit my set goals for the year.
During the days when I was making noise on my birthday, I used to have a lot of fun with having people around. My birthday celebration mainly centers around gathering friends to eat, drink, crack jokes, and laugh.
Half of the little years I've lived on this earth have been in service to humanity, and this has shaped my thoughts to a wide range and this has made my life surrounded by people
The last birthday I celebrated was during my NYSC, and on that day, I set a record that will live forever in the hearts of the attendees. Oh yeah, there was enough food for everyone that came, up to 40 corpers ate and were satisfied. (I planned it well and made local food instead of the usual food and this made everywhere to be painted with food. Incase you're assuming the food is not tasty, you're wrong).
My plans for this year's birthday
This coming birthday, I'm planning something similar, but it's going to be on virtual mode because currently, most of my friends are online. I once had a birthday celebration in virtual mode, and it went very well.
This time around, I will schedule a suitable time, create a group, send invitations to all my friends, get a good MC, get gifts like airtime and data, and get it buzzing.
