The pathway we take as Content Creators on this blockchain is a very adventurous and interesting one and it's a journey we've all had to embrace with Patience, hope and an unwavering desire to learn as much as possible. Everyone has stories to tell about their experience and I believe that anyone who's still here must have seen a very bright side of this adventure.
In my case, I have stories to tell and I have experiences to share. Most importantly, I've been able to come across people who are unique in their way and each encounter I've had with one person or another usually has its way of punctuating my trajectory as a content creator on the blockchain.
I've seen folks who discovered this blockchain from when it was still part of the legacy chain and it's always interesting to tap from their well of knowledge. I've also been here for a few years and it's hard to put a figure on the number of things I've been able to learn. The best part of my learning experience here is that the things I learn are also very relevant in helping me grow as a person within and outside the blockchain.
Now, let's explore a few of the things I've learned by being an active member of Hive Blockchain;
1. The Value Of Creativity.
Those in the creative industry have always been valued, but the process is always rigorous and institutional. Just a decade ago, anyone who wanted to excel as a blogger would have to go through the process of creating a website and publishing consistently on the site. Well, that's not the end. You also have to do a lot of promotions to get the clicks.
In recent years, only a few artists get the opportunity to monetize their artwork. The same applies to so many people in the Creative industry. It may not be the case all-over the world but, I can still recall how artists and aspiring writers got treated like jobless folks.
After discovering Hive, one of the things that still fascinates me about it is the fact that people's creativity can be easily monetized here. Whether you are a writer, an artist or a photographer, there is a Community for everyone. This made it easier for me to embrace the creative side of my life.
2. Practical knowledge of personal finance.
I'm not a noob in the field of finance. I'm quite knowledgeable in the area and the structure we have on Hive makes it so much easier for people to be in control of their finances. The 50/50 payout structure encourages people to reinvest half of their payout and I see that as a brilliant idea.
Even with the HBD that is sitting in your wallet, you can choose to push that into your HBD savings where it will earn 20% APR. These things are not just there in theory... It's a better savings package than what is offered by commercial banks in my part of the world.
You see? The payout structure we have on Hive teaches us the practical side of being investors. It also inspires us to nurture a decent savings culture.
3. Consistency takes us steps closer to achieving what we want.
"Be Consistent" is one of the top tips you will get whenever you ask someone about the things you can do to thrive on Hive. For obvious reasons, this is a very good approach to take because Hive has so much to do with consistently building your profile, growing your community and keeping your blog page updated with quality content.
The consistency principle is quite applicable in all other areas of life and I say this without mincing words because I've been exploring it and it works really well.
Everything I've learned on Hive Blockchain has been playing a very good role in the life I'm living at the moment and my life outside the blockchain has been so much better and fulfilling. I'm elated.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma.
