So Thrill To Play When You Know The Best Cards
Good day everyone? How are you doing today? How was the weekend?
Well! I find this season very interesting because I got some awesome cards which I have been longing for and I was really happy.
For the past four seasons, I could not claim more than 12 season rewards. But, in the just concluded season, I was able to get 17 season rewards. That was spectacular!
I believe that this season we just started yesterday, I will be able to explore more; and I am praying for the almighty to help me.
Friends, it is not too late to participate In this week's Splinterlands battle mage secrets. I don't like to miss this opportunity for anything.

I tagged the title for this battle mage secrets challenge as SO THRILL TO PLAY.
Enraged rule is thrilled to play when you know the best monsters to use. One can win this kind of battle by understanding what your opponent is coming with and how to tackle your opponent.
I love how the melee monsters increase their melees.
NOTE: Magic and range monsters will not increase their magic and ranged attack when enrage ability is activated in them. Only the speed will increase when it is magic and ranged monsters.
Therefore, melee monsters are best monsters for this type of rule. One has to be very smart in arrangements, the position to place the monsters.
But the battle I am going to share here today includes range and magic monsters because of the other rules attached to this battle.
The moment I saw that my opponent came with Scared llama mage and Undying Kron in this battle. There was no hope for me to win this battle because the monster and summoner I saw killed my morale.
I thought my opponent would win the battle because Scared llama mage can not be underestimated no matter what level they are. But the way I arranged my monsters gave me the privilege to win the game.
Ruleset
Heavy Hitter: All monsters have the knockout ability. This was the major reason I used spirit shaman.
Let me start with this rule; the heavy hitter rule set does double damage to an attacking monster that is stunned. That was the reason I used Spirit Shaman in this rule. It is only Spirit Shaman that could gave such vibe to my monsters
Fire and Regret: All monsters have the return fire ability.
The ranged monsters are damaged when attacking a monster.
What Doesn't Kill You: All monsters have the enrage ability.
I like the vibe of this rule; when this rule is activated on a melee monster, the melee and the speed increases. When it activates on range and magic monsters, such monsters can only increase in speed.

The Grunt
Splinter: Earth
Level: 1⭐
Ability: Double strike
Speed: 3
Health: 9
Attack: Melee
Mana: 10
I read the game very well, I knew that the Grunt was very important in this battle. When it was attacked, it melee and speed increased by 50%. I.e the melee increased from 3 to 5 while the speed increased from 3 to 5.
The double strike ability was the factor of its selection; when the Grunt attacked in the first round, it attacked twice and 10 health was damaged from the target.
Despite the strength of Flesh Golem which was the monster used by my opponent, its health was reduced to 2.
Flesh Golem did not have a chance to participate in the second round. It was eliminated in the first round of this battle.
Mycelic Slipspawn
Splinter: Earth
Level: 2⭐⭐
Ability: Taunt
Speed: 2
Health: 12
Attack: Magic
Mana: 9
I knew it wouldn't be a nice idea to place Mycelic Slipspawn in first position. Then, I came up with a plan to use it in second position so that the Grunt could stay longer in this battle. It was crystal clear that if there was no Mycelic Slipspawn, the Grunt wouldn't reach the second round because of the massive attack from my opponent.
Mycelic Slipspawn was not eliminated throughout the battle.
Regal Peryton
Splinter: Earth's
Level: 3⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Flying
Speed: 6
Health: 5
Attack: Magic
Mana: 5
The speed of regal was very important to me. That was not all; I thought the Grunt and Mycelic Slipspawn would be eliminated. Therefore, the flying ability of Regal Peryton would be very useful in the first position if its led the lineup.
Spirit Shaman
Splinter: Earth
Level: 3⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Stun and Divine Shield
Speed: 4
Health: 5
Attack: Magic
Mana: 4
The only monster that could activate heavy hitter is a monster with stun ability. That was the reason I used Spirit Shaman. With the ability of this monster, it was possible for me to defeat the giant Undying Kron.
Without Spirit Shaman, there was no way I could have won the battle because the monster is very powerful.
Beatrix Ironhand
Splinter: Earth
Level: 2⭐⭐
Ability: Close range
Speed: 4
Health: 6
Attack: Range
Mana: 6
I shouldn't have used Beatrix Ironhand in this battle. This is because of the presence of the
Spirit Hoarder
Splinter: Earth
Level: 1⭐
Ability: Triage
Speed: 1
Health: 4
Attack: Magic
Mana: 3
The Triage ability was incredible, restoring certain portions of health back to the Mycelic Slipspawn. Spirit Hoarder was the main reason why Mycelic was not eliminated in time.
