The latest update is that Hotels are no longer safe because it is now the den of ritualists and kidnappers. Recently a man went to his village in Delta state and lodged in a Hotel a day before his brother's funeral, which was why he went there.
Unfortunately, he was killed by the workers in the hotel and they would have gone scot-free if the man didn't inform his wife and one other person close to him about his whereabouts, this is why it is good to always tell your people where you are. Family men who think their wives are monitoring them and won't reveal their location should learn from this story cos a lot of people have gone missing this way with their family not knowing their whereabouts.
When his family didn't see him during the funeral, they called his wife and she told them he lodged in a hotel in that area, the family members stormed the hotel making inquiries if he truly lodged there but the workers said he did not, so they ask them to let them search the rooms but the manager refused by giving a silly excuse... The family did not buy the excuse so they forcefully started to open the rooms one after the other until they got to a particular room that was locked, they asked the manager to open it but he lied that the person inside was being intimate and did not want to be disturbed, the family didn't care and after some minutes of dragging the issue, they break the door and they were shocked with the horrifying image in front of them, it was that man in a pool of blood tied on a chair, he has been killed!
Many people shared their own experience of how they lodge in a hotel and in the middle of the night, they hear a sound coming from their door which was someone trying to use a spare key to open their door, some others said their door was being knocked in the middle of the night, like what has the world turned to!

Everyone should just stay in their house and also when traveling, if you need to lodge in a hotel, make sure you do a video record of the receptionist and let him or her be aware you are doing it, also make a call to like 4 people telling them the name of the hotel right in front of the receptionist so they can know that your people know you are there, that would make them think twice before harming you.
The rate of Kidnapping is alarming too and they have many formats, some use commercial buses and cars, we have a name for them here[one chance] the worst part about this is after they kidnap someone the family ends up paying the ransom they demanded, they would still kill the victim, like why so much violence and wickedness.
The main cause for all this is Money. Money is indeed the root of all evil, the search for it has turned men into beasts, and it has made some people heartless to the extent they can kill their fellow without having a guilty conscience.
Please stay safe, stay in your house if possible, don't visit strange places, and be vigilant when you lodge in any hotel.
