This photo was taken in Greenland. The glacier on the photo is called the Eqi Glacier. Not far from the glacier you will find the camp with cabins where it’s possible to stay overnight. It’s a good idea to that if you want to hike to the huge ice sheet that covers the interior of the island. It is possible to reach the ice sheet on a day trek. The only connection between the towns is by boat. When you arrive Eqi you will then have this huge icy wall right in front of you. It is huge and because ice will break now and then, you have a distance of at least a kilometre between the glacier and the boat. The breaking of ice can cause a tsunami, so this can be dangerous to get too close. This photo is my entry to @photofeed contest @photofeed/photofeed-contest-landscape-photography-round-89
