📸 PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography #79 : An icon of Buenos Aires

This obelisk in the center of Buenos Aires, Argentina, is well-known I think. It's an icon often seen on photos. It's located on the Plaza de la Republica. When it was erected in 1936, it was in memory of the foundation of the city in 1536. This is also the place where the Argentinean flag was raised for the first time. It's 67,5 meters in hight. There are more than 200 stairs inside. These leads to a viewing platform at the top. When you look up at the top, you can see the windows. I don't know if it's open to the public to climp to the top.
