This place is Rome, Italy. The building, or what is left of it, is the well-known Colosseum. An ancient amphitheater located close to the Roman Forum in the center of the city. The Colosseum is the largest of its kind ever built. Battles between the gladiators and animals, like lions, has taken place here.
