A Sublime and Beautiful Sunday of our Winter Sunrise and a Heron that never left

Today I'm sharing my video as a #SublimeSunday inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.

I've not done a #sublimesunday in some time and I'm hoping that video is ok. I do have images to accompany it, but I'm not sure I have the "Skill" to place them in the text as I use #3speak. We shall see.

I suppose I could edit it in Peakd afterwards?

However, this #beautifulsunday shall be my sharing one of our sunrises .I'm lucky and blessed to live where I do. I'm a morning person by nature and a creature of routine, so each morning I rise before sunrise and light my fire (laid the night before). With a pot of coffee and an old book (no tech allowed before sunrise) I enjoy the fire and watch the sunrise.

We on the Cape (Cape Cod) are blessed with many wonderful sunrise and sunset. I'm also excited this year as a single blue heron has decided to stay (for the second year in a row) thru the Winter, despit all his chums and his cousins, the snowy egret, heading down south for the Winter.

I've a little fantasy the he, like me, is a poor cousin who is left in Summer houes in the dead of Winter, whilst others get to follow the sun to South Carolina, Florida or overseas.

Yet, I love a summer house in Winter. It's so much quieter. The other houes sit still and silent; doors locked, boats in boathouses, the harbor empty (save the hardworking shell fisherman who also don't get a Winter's reprieve). There is a beauty in the frozen bits of sea left in the shorn brown seagrass as the tide slips out slowly under the low Winter snow cloud sky.

So, today's Sublime sunday is sharing this bit of beauty with you in video form. If I don't figure out how to insert pictures I do hope the video is enough.

I hope you all have a lovely Sunday and find a moment in your day to indulge in your own passions and if you get a chance, watch a sunrise.
