Hello coffeelovers of @cinamoncupofcoffee
A few months ago, I decided to move to Havana. I’ve been making preparations, and the trip is next week. So I’ve had to go out a lot recently to take care of paperwork and sort out a few things I need to get done before I leave.
In that context, I was with my friend Diana in Enramadas last week and we stumbled upon this place. I don’t quite remember the name, but the place was beautiful. I loved the ambiance, the lighting, the music—everything.
My friend and I ordered a cortadito. The coffee was absolutely delicious, the service was good (which is actually rare in Santiago de Cuba), and best of all, they accept payment by bank transfer (which is also pretty hard to find in Santiago de Cuba). So, naturally, we fell in love with the place. Maybe next time will order some cocktails for a change.
There used to be a place here that sold food and snacks, but for some reason it closed down. Personally, I liked that the new business is a café. It’s a shame I won’t be able to enjoy it as often as I’d like, since I only have a few days left in the city.
At least it will serve as a farewell, something like a final cup of coffee. A final cup of coffee with which I’ll close one chapter of my life and begin another, where I’ll work toward better things and better moments. Of course, coffee will always be by my side. After all, the only thing that keeps me going during the toughest times is sitting down to drink my cup of coffee while listening to some good jazz.
Everything was beautiful. I love to find places like this one. Santiago de Cuba has great places to sit and have some coffee but lately the city looks kinda sad. Cuba needs a change really soon.
Anyways, I will be leaving this city soon, so I better enjoy all I can. I'll miss my friends an family but everything is going to be alright.
Here are some photos for you to enjoy.
