The best way to spend the vacations is to rest and even more so when there are only a few days. Here in Venezuela we celebrate Holy Week, which starts on Thursday and ends on Sunday, so it is considered a short vacation. Beyond those, for having free time in the morning, I went to walk around downtown and being there is an opportunity, because you can get many stores and offers that are very accessible, as it happened visiting a coffee shop downtown. It is impressive how they continue to set up this type of business and that way many people can go to spend a great time, enjoy a good coffee and above all to do something different.
This time we went to a place known as Deco Café located in one of the avenues of downtown being a fairly small place, but it is a wonder for the way they managed to recreate it and that way it is attractive and once there we got a big surprise that for having very few days since its inauguration had a super promo that we could not miss and are opportunities to enjoy a good coffee even quality price and above all is perfect to go with someone and that way everyone can enjoy Deco Café.
Once there in that place I felt very comfortable and I was coming from touring downtown, so it was like a little break to refresh ourselves and continue with our activities that day. The promo that the coffee shop was not offering was 1 slice of cake accompanied by two large coffee for only 5$, which I thought was very good, where I had never seen something like that and for being new is a great way to attract many people and enjoy their products, plus it is better to sell more things than not selling anything for the high prices that other coffee shops in the city have.
So, we made ourselves comfortable and it took about 10 minutes to bring the coffee and cake to where we were sitting, where once again the decoration of the foam that had the coffee surprised me, as one had a heart and the other a bear's face, which was very nice and I did not want to damage it. The good thing is that the coffee was coffee with milks and for that part is a plus for the place, which was at its point and in my case I put a few more spoonfuls of sugar and that coffee with milk was 10/10, where every sip I took I liked and even more the cup was glass and everything was elegant.
The portion of cake they gave us, which only had very few options and they are not chopped, so we ordered one that was carrot which had a long time that I had not eaten one of those and I liked it, as it was fluffy, good flavor and enough carrot which allowed it to be at its point, plus a spice of white cream on top, where I do not know how it is, but I assure you that it gave a special touch. We were able to enjoy and make a great combination between the coffee with milk and the carrot cake.
For the first time we visited this coffee shop, I found it a very cozy place and I would like to visit it again to continue trying the other things it offers. So friends if you are here in Maturin and you are looking for a place to have a coffee do not hesitate to visit it and get very good promotions.
